It is a laboratory of ideas, where designers, architects, engineers, and craftsmen are related to each other to create new industrial design products based on their experiences, background, culture, feelings, and professional skills. This working group is also joined by graphic designers, psychologists, environmentalists, and others who are equally key to finding new ideas and translating the needs of contemporary living, particularly in following public or private housing projects. 

The goal is to integrate multiple disciplines revolving around industrial design projects to foster the interpretation of key environmental, social and relationship issues between individuals, artifacts and spaces, aimed at defining a user-centered approach.

The ergonomics and comfort of furniture produced by Zona Living start from a deep understanding of the industry and a constant input of new insights and research.

With the aim of further improving usability, physical and cognitive ergonomics, and the real and perceived comfort of each product, a series of collaborations and exchanges with research centers, including the University of Florence, are ongoing,

The main goal is to pay the utmost attention to people's needs, in living.
